Motion Design in Dubai — Studio for Brands & Fintech
Tsurtsumiya creates motion design for Dubai and UAE brand, technology, corporate and event briefs — from kinetic identity systems and explainers to social cutdowns, in-app motion and stage-screen packages. We design and animate visual systems — kinetic identity, product motion, explainers, event openers, retail loops — built to live across paid social, in-app, retail screens and event surfaces.
The work spans 15-second loops to 90-second explainers and stage opener animations for keynote events. The principle is the same at every length: motion design is a visual language for the brand, not a decoration on top of it.
What we do
Motion design at studio level is system thinking before it is animation. A campaign rarely ships as one film — it ships as a hero, a set of cutdowns, an end-frame system, in-app motion, and a presentation pack. We design these together so the same kinetic logic carries through every surface.
Common deliverables: brand motion systems and identity loops, product and feature animations, fintech and B2B explainers, dashboard and data-vis motion, event opener animations, retail and DOOH loops, social motion packs in 9:16 / 1:1 / 4:5 / 16:9.
Where motion design wins over live-action
Motion is the right answer when the subject is abstract, when the brief needs scale, or when the campaign has to localise across markets without re-shooting.
Abstract products. Fintech platforms, B2B SaaS, security and infrastructure rarely have a physical hero shot. Animation gives the brand a way to make value visible.
Speed and scalability. A motion piece with a clear styleframe system can produce 12 cutdowns in the time live-action produces 3, because the asset is the timeline, not the location.
Compliance-friendly for regulated industries. For sectors with strict disclosure or legal review, animation lets us iterate copy and on-screen disclosures without re-shooting. Legal and compliance review happens on the storyboard and animatic stages, not on a wrap day.
Modular cutdowns from one hero. A 60-second hero designed as modular blocks — title system, transitions, end-frame, audio bed — produces 6 to 12 social and retail cuts inside the same project file. No re-shoot, no re-grade.
Capabilities
Fintech and financial explainers
Data visualisation, dashboard motion, transaction flows, security and trust signals. Designed in After Effects with custom expressions and live data drivers when the campaign needs accuracy. We work inside the compliance language of UAE banking — tone, disclosures, brand-safety review — rather than retrofitting it at the end.
Corporate and B2B motion
Product animations, feature explainers, event opener animations for keynote stages, and internal communications. We design the opener and the closing frame as a system, so the same identity carries through the rest of the event package.
Brand and fashion motion
Typography systems, transition libraries, retail loops, social-first identity motion. For fashion and luxury we keep the motion grammar quiet — a designed restraint rather than a maximalist display.
3D motion graphics
Cinema 4D and Redshift / Octane for 3D-driven motion: product reveals, abstract brand sequences, hero moments inside an otherwise 2D piece. When the project needs full CGI commercial work, we route through CGI Commercial Production in Dubai rather than treating it as motion graphics.
AI-assisted motion exploration
AI tools at the styleframe and animatic stages compress the iteration loop on concept. Final motion is animated in After Effects, Cinema 4D and Cavalry — under direct artist control — not generated.
Our process
Strategy and script. Brief, single-message anchor, deliverables list, languages required, timeline.
Storyboard. Frame-by-frame structure, voice-over draft, on-screen copy.
Styleframes. Three to six static frames defining the visual system — colour, type, illustration grammar, end-frame.
Animatic. Low-fi animation with VO timing, used as the locked structural reference before full animation begins.
Animation. Built in After Effects, Cavalry or Cinema 4D depending on the visual system. Sound design and mix produced in parallel.
Sound and grade. Sound design tailored to the cut; final colour and consistency check across the deliverable pack.
Localisation and deliverables. Multi-language voice-over, Arabic on-screen copy, captions, format conversions.

Why Tsurtsumiya for motion
Motion, CGI and edit live in the same pipeline. Most motion shops finish the asset and hand it to a separate CGI house when the brief escalates, or to a separate post house for the live-action mix. We keep all three in the same studio. A 30-second piece that opens with live-action and closes with a CGI hero shot is one project, not three.
AI previz layer for faster iteration without losing control. We use generative tools to explore styleframes and animatics before manual animation begins. The artist still owns the final frame; AI just compresses the part of the timeline that is usually slowest — getting from brief to a styleframe everyone agrees on.
Compliance-aware design language. We have built motion design for regulated industries where every line of on-screen copy goes through legal and compliance review. The process is structured around that constraint — storyboard-stage and animatic-stage approval, on-screen copy locked before final animation — rather than retrofitted at delivery. For UAE banks, fintech and insurance teams, this matters.
Same colourist, same editor, every cutdown. The hero film and the 12 social cutdowns are graded by the same person, edited by the same person, animated against the same styleframe library. The deliverable pack reads as one piece of work, not as a hero plus an outsourced cutdown set.
Discuss a motion design brief
Send the deliverables list, launch date, brand guidelines and any existing design system. If the brief is still early, send the problem the motion needs to solve — product clarity, event energy, social cutdowns, localisation or a full motion identity system.
A useful brief for motion design usually includes: script status (locked, draft, brief only), required deliverables and formats, languages needed, target launch date, and any locked brand assets (logo system, type, colour). If something is still open, send what exists.
